The Society for Experimental Biology offers one travel grant to an early stage researcher to attend the UV4Plants Network Conference.
The applicants must be:
- a Student/Early Career Scientist member of the SEB
- first author presenting a poster or a talk at the UV4Plants Network Conference
- registered (and fully paid) to attend the meeting

UV4Plants president and vice-president, together with the chair of the UV4Plants Conference organizing committee will choose one application and recommend it for SEB. The selection will be primarily based on the scientific quality of the abstract, but preference will be given to candidates attending both Network Conference and Training School.
The successful applicant will receive 500 GBP from SEB and is to provide a report of his/her experience at the conference for the SEB Autumn bulletin and website.
